Renie Cavallari: Founder & Chairman
Renie Cavallari, Chief Inspiration Officer and CEO, founded Aspire Marketing & Training in 1995. She is an energetic trainer, strategist, speaker, author and leader who has delivered measurable performance results for businesses around the world over the past 20 years. Renie started her career with Sheraton Corporation, and has worked in operations, sales and marketing, organizational development and strategic positioning.

In 2007, Renie founded Wings to Fly. By integrating inspiration, knowledge, research-based resources and coaching into daily life, Cavallari had a vision to create a camp to encourage and educate young women to live life fully by finding their gifts and making choices from a place of self confidence and self respect; ultimately designing the life they dream and becoming the leaders of tomorrow.

Jennifer Higgins: President
Jennifer is a VP and Commercial Loan Officer at Sunrise Community Bank, specializing in relationship banking for small business owners in Arizona. A graduate of the University of Rochester, with a BA in Economics, Jennifer spent 18 years in the health club industry before making the switch to banking in November 2000.

Jennifer’s commitment to encouraging and advancing the education of children is also represented as a Board Member of the Arizona Character Education Foundation as well as a volunteer for The Foundation for Public Education.

Marcella McKenzie: VP Secretary & Legal Affairs Consultant

Marcella is a native Phoenician and has worked as a Paralegal for over 25 years in Arizona and Southern California. Currently she is the Sr. Paralegal for Best Western International, Inc. She has a broad range of legal experience and will use such to coordinate the various legal needs of Wings. Marcella also has a long history of fundraising from non-profits to state and federal political campaigns.

Candace Banning: VP of Marketing

Candace is Director of Field Sales & Marketing Services for Destination Hotels & Resorts. She has 18 plus years in hospitality sales & marketing, the last 5 years have focused on developing business analytic reporting tools, database management and training for group sales and catering to drive revenue and increase ROI. She is also a corporate event planner responsible for producing a national sales meeting, recognition event and regional meetings.

  

Candace is also the Camp Director for Wings to Fly where she is responsible for the logistics of camp. 

Creativity. Enthusiasm. Organization... are the gifts she brings as she works through the details of camp and promotes the Wings to Fly message.

Rayleen F. Colletti: CPA, Treasurer
Rayleen has over 25 years experience in public accounting including experience at the worldwide firm of KPMG in Newport Beach, CA. She currently practices in Scottsdale, AZ and is a firm member of Hunter, Hagan & Company, Ltd. She holds CPA licenses in the states of Arizona and California.

Rayleen is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Construction Financial Management Association, and the Valley Estate Planners. Rayleen’s experience with both for and non-profits gives her a unique perspective.

Karen May: VP of Events

Karen is Vice President Sales & Marketing CSI etc. Expositions Trade Shows and Conferences. Over the last 25 years Karen has excelled in meeting and event planning, trade show management, incentive travel and destination management.  She has operated numerous local and international programs, ranging from 10 to 100,000 attendees.

Karen is very active in the Arizona Events community. She is a current member of HSMAI and Past President of the Arizona chapter and past International Board Member.  She maintains membership in the local chapters of MPI, HSMAI, ADME, SITE, HIP, ISES, PCMA, ESCA and AZSAE.

Connection. Drive. Compassion...  are the gifts that Karen brings as she develops the Bowl-a-Thon and Beautifully Paired into outstanding annual fundraising events for Wings to Fly.


Steve Geiogamah: Advisor
Steve Geiogamah, a member of the Kiowa Nation of Oklahoma is a career economic development manager working with city municipalities and Native American communities. Mr. Geiogamah, currently provides strategic tourism planning and operational support while serving as the Tourism Development Coordinator for the City of Scottsdale. Mr. Geiogamah has also assisted with the development of various tribal enterprises while working as a Senior Executive for the Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community and the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation.

Steve’s drive to assist others is evident in his service to diverse communities and non-profits organizations such as the Phoenix Indian Center and the Arizona American Indian Tourism Association.
